Heh folks tonight I'm gonna talk about Harry Reid Now it is one of life’s most pronounced ironies that the Senator who represents Vegas is such a dim bulb ... I have had it up to 10 feet above my head with Reid's projectile nay-saying and so I present the following ... With no due respect sir ... First off, the appearance ... I'm bemused by the fact that the Libs fancy themselves as young idealists that are going to shake it up ... And then are forced to fall in behind Dorian Grays lighting stand in ... Whenever I see Reid speak I half expect to see Marg Helgenberger and the CSI team run out and put a chalk outline around the podium ... Next ... The voice ... If its possible to make Mr. Limpet sound like Demosthenes ... Reid does it every time he opens his ashen pie hole and haltingly forces out that tremulous pale grey oratory that sounds like its oozing from a stuck caulking gun ... Third ... to quote the great Steven Boyd ... The constant bring down ... From we killed the Patriot Act to we'll gain House seats to his magnum opus ... We've lost the war ... Reid has been unrelentingly bleak in his appraisal of the conflict of our lifetime ... I think he believes that getting his negative comments in early could be the one chance that a non-entity like he has at a place in history ... His is a mediocre mans Thermopoli ... Senator, only in the off-the-rack culture that we currently have could a whiny hack like you somehow rise to a position of leadership ... The bad guys look to you to reinforce their belief that we are the weak horse and eminently conquerable ... You are making that assertion so easy for them that they no doubt view you as the derriere of said horse ... Now the first rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club ... Harry I hate to be one to break this to you but trust me ... there are many millions of people who concur with this and don't have the opportunity that I do ... You are a VAGUE, TRANSLUCENT LIVING SHADE who barely matters ... and if you really want to serve the country that affords a trifle like you the opportunity to delude himself into to thinking that he matters you must NEVER ... EVER speak out loud in public again ...

• Stop trying to overturn Roe v. Wade and never spend Federal dollars on abortion ...

• Stop all current Federal alternative energy research, spend the budgeted money on battery research, clean coal and coal-to-fuel research ...

• Protect the weak (stopping at a woman's choice), help the disadvantaged, once ...

• Equal opportunity for all, equal pay for equal effort ...

• Pro Choice heath care, return health care choice to the individual, eliminate state mandates ...

• Total embargo of Cuba, North Korea, Syria and Iran ...

• Let losers lose ...

• Let winners win ... no cheating ...

• Balance the expected benefit of any Federal regulation against the worst possible unintended consequences when doing the cost benefit analysis ...

• One generation of 100% handouts per family ... 50% for the next generation ... 25% for the third ...

The Benefits of Pumping Domestic US Oil ...

For every additional million barrels of oil we pump per day we gain:

• a 6% reduction in our trade deficit
• 500,000 new US jobs
• 45 Billion dollars stay in America which strengthens the dollar

If we were to double our domestic production from 5 million to 10 million barrels per day we would:

• reduce the trade deficit by 30+%
• create 2,500,000 new jobs
• 220 Billion dollars stay in America

Any reduction in the price of gasoline at the pump would be icing on this wonderfully beneficial cake ...

ANWAR vs Persian Gulf Oil ...

Where would you rather get oil for the next 13 years ?

In 2006 we imported 800 million barrels of oil from the Persian Gulf ...

ANWAR contains 10.4 billion barrels = 12.88 years ...

If you just consider the bad actors among the oil producers we imported a total of 534 million barrels from Saudi Arabia in 2006. ANWAR represents 19+ years of Saudi oil.

I don't know about you but I'd rather not buy oil from the Saudi's ....
